3 Pinned Cutaway Practice Lock

Practice locks are perfect as training tools for student locksmiths. This cutaway pin tumbler practice lock is pinned with 3 tumblers. Our cutaway practice cylinders are an excellent way to see exactly what's going on inside the lock for a more complete understanding of lock construction. This helps the student as they practice their skills. We've also added spool driver pins to our cutaway practice cylinders as an added challenge for students entering the trade. They're an effective and affordable supplemental tool for your practice kit. For the best learning experience, start with a 2 or 3 pin standard cylinder. When you've mastered that, you can move up to the 3 and 5 pin cutaway cylinders. They're designed with Kwikset/Weiser or Schlage keyways, which will challenge your picking abilities so you can become more adept at manipulating locks. We have cutaway cylinders with 3 or 5 tumblers, made for righties and lefties, to provide various degrees of difficulty.

Note that this 3 pinned cutaway practice tumbler lock is only available in a right-handed style.
